AU collaborates with Sappe

AU collaborates with Sappe to train students using real cases.

Thursday August 16, 2019 at Sappe PCL – Dean, Associate Dean, Chairperson and lecturers of Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts met with Sappe Executives to discuss the collaborative opportunities. Sappe would provide real cases of their brands for our students to work on in their term projects.

In the first semester of 2019, six courses which are AD2100 Consumer Insight, AD3106 Art Direction, AD 3112 Brand Communication, AD 3119 Advertising and Marketing Communication Research, NM 4406 broadcast media production and directing, and VIS 4118 Display & Exhibition Design from 3 departments participate in the project.

Darunee Sa-areddee (Dean), Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts said that, “The project is our initiation together with Sappe to create the opportunity of working experience with our students. Our school emphasizes on training with real case. We want our students to be equipped with hands-on experience and be ready for their graduation so that they can begin their professional lives with advantage. We believe that this project will help the students to graduate with high level of professional skill.”

Several brands such as B’ lue, Maxtiv, ZEA Max, and Sappe for one day will be the cases for students to work with. Thanks to Sappe and the Executives: K. Apiwitsh Shiratani (Top line Director – Danone Sappe Beverage company Limited), K. Piyaporn Chanmukda (Brand Manager), and K. Wasan Laiteerapong (Group Brand Division Manager) for their kind contributions in the discussion and in making this collaboration possible. We, Communication Arts students and lecturers promise to work hard to deliver good works to you.
