BACKGROUND/SHORT DESCRIPTION

Along with the discovering the tranquility, to make myself calm, stop thinking on something that might threaten my emotion, but the world around me on that place still on the move and still play its role as usual. I see the tidal change their condition, water drop change it form, make me feel the condition of freeze – motionless, standstill. Inconstant condition of water can be transforming to any type of form depending on how it moves along with gravity of the earth. This is how the idea of make the water stop and freeze on the moment in which it explodes from the surface of the water into the air by changing the size of rock in the water steam and the angle that throw it into the water.

The experimental photography artwork was setup by selecting different size and type of rocks in the rivulet. Then experiment by throwing variety size and weight of rocks into the water stream (depth around 35-50 centimeters). The angle of throwing rocks and the speed of pitches are vary, in order to make the diversity of form during the moment of taking photograph. With high-speed shutter (Stutter speed = 1/800-1200 s) and medium value of F-stop (Aperture = f5.6 – f8) were set on the shooting process. However, I also consider about arranging the composition of the image during the time of capturing the image with those vital activities of tourist on the background. This is the representation of contrast and relationship between the movement of people and freeze water.
