BACKGROUND/SHORT DESCRIPTION

This project is one of the CA Creative work 2020. This creative work project has been developed from the previous CA creative work project of the researcher which is ‘Good Bye : Stage play’. There have been numerous positive feedbacks from audiences. Then, I, as a researcher, decide to create a creative work project which is one of the requests from the audiences about ‘Chai’ perspective or the reason of his action from the previous story. As in a previous production, the story is all about ‘Ying’s perspective . However, it comes to my question that why audiences cannot see the perspective of Chai, as in Good Bye : Stage play.

final round (book and directed by Sasaporn Suthatkul)

Moreover, as the theme of this annual creative work is ‘Relationship’, it makes me think that the relationship of Ying and Chai could not tear apart. Furthermore, the word ‘Hello’ and ‘Goodbye’ also have some connections in a way of its meanings. As I have mentioned, we always greeting others as ‘Hello’ and we end our conversation by using the word ‘Goodbye’.

This project has been started as I have mentioned in the paragraph above. It makes me think that if we could really make an audience to see some of the perspective the character of Chai and understand this character more, it might have some answers or understanding for audiences.

As I am a live performance content creator, I think that recorded long take live performance could be a tool to represent and share some ideas about ‘relationship’ towards target audiences. Furthermore, because of the covid-19 outbreaks, the performance cannot be performed in a specific theatre for numerous audiences. So, I decided to publish in an online version of watching this creative work performance.
